Like everyone else, they survived the draining spell due to The Collector's influence (at least that's what was implied.) They were just unconscious. I'm not even in denial, there's just nothing in the episode itself to suggest that they're dead and that the rest of The Isles isn't. Either they're alive or the entirety of the Isles, including them, is dead and Eda, King, and The Collector are the only ones left.
