The loosening of the fasteners and retightening and positioning the wiper arm bolt really worked on my 1997 Maxima. Thank you

back in the day...lol.. when I was young and working at gas stations ALL cars fueling up with a 'fill-up' (regardless of the amount of gas it took) got a free windshield wash. We also checked their tires on request and the engine oil as well. That's why they were called 'Service Stations'. Still, in Oregon, drivers cannot self-fuel. Except diesel.

Very clear expression and every point covered. Eg. How many times people clean wiper, assumption that rain water shall remove dust particles and sticky particles.

2:25. cleaning wiper bladed with wd40 or any chemicals is biggest damage to wiper blades. Because you are damaging the graphite coating on wiper blades which enables wiper blades move smoothly

I personally think the best way to have quiet non-squeaky windshield wipers is to buy Teflon Wiper Blades. Teflon is self lubricating, and works great with wiper blades. But not many options for this wonderful design: The only Teflon wiper I know is Trico Winter "Ice" Wiper Blade. You won't be disappointed. ($5-6 each Rockauto). Great all year wiper blade.

I just wiped my very squeaky wipers with a baby wipe and they are fine now.

Seems to be a design flaw. When wipers are not in use the blades are flipped up. They are in this position while the sun bakes the blades. After several days of baking they are now curled up, therefore causing chatter going up but not down. They should be designed so when down and not in use, they should not contact the glass at all.that way they would stay straight.

TBH number 6, is the best, I replace twice a year, winter and summer, it may be expensive but 2 things are important on your car and also on a safety point, tires and wipers, I've never had problems with either, also use winter wipers in winter, summer in summer, you can swap them instead of replacing them, then maybe every 2 years change them out, on my car there is no winter wipers option so I opted to change out twice a year.

BOSCH ICON wipers work very well. See Project Farm you tube channel. The Windshield should also be clay barred to remove more stubborn films that won’t come off with simple cleaner. A magic eraser with glass cleaner is also an option to scrub the glass clean. Very stubborn stuff a DA machine w felt pad and glass polish like griots. I use distilled water in the wash reservoir with some no rinse car wash added. Like ONR (Optimum No Rinse) McKees 914, or P&S Absolute would also work. One or Two caps should be plenty. Just make sure P&S is fully dissolved if using that product. Griots glass sealant works well if you decide to apply a coating

Mine always make a little squeek when going up and going back down when it rains. Cleaned the wiper many times and cleaned the windshield and bought OEM Wipers from factory. Not sure what to do. Even he windshield is new.

My blades make noise going up but not down. Going down the blades wipe but going up the blades are ''pushed'' and chatter. I've tried bending the arms so the blades wipe on the up wipe but to no avail. ???
