Central Park tower is technically taller than One World Trade Center. The spire on roof top is cheating. Central Park Tower has higher roof of 472 meter or 1550 feet. Whereas One World Trade Center's roof height is 417 meter or 1368 feet. Roof height and the highest occupied floor should be considered while measuring a building's height. Currently the One World Trade Center is 7th tallest building in the world. The Central Park Tower is ranked somewhere at 15th which is so underrated. One World Trade Center technically is even shorter than the Willis Tower which is at 442 meters with just its roof height.

I don’t know that I’d want to live in the Steinway Tower, as narrow as it is. I know the architects built it in a way that allows it to withstand strong wind gusts, but I have to believe, especially on the upper floors, that strong wind gusts make the top 10 floors sway enough that the residents can feel the building move.
