She’s so right. Most Asians in general like to categorize people.

I have a degree in Neuroscience, and just want to mention there is no sound scientific evidence supporting MBTI. It remains what we call a pseudoscience. It relies on cognitive biases such as the Barnum effect, flattery, and confirmation bias. In other words, the personality descriptions are so appealing and vague that they are practically useless ... Its complexion and science-like appearance does NOT mean it is science. While I believe it can be a useful tool for self reflection, to maybe open a discussion in a job interview, or for fun, it should NEVER be used to classify people or determine if they are fit for a certain job role. That is why you don't see real psychologists use it to actually classify people.
Trust me when I say our brains are much more complicated than this...

To those who comments how beautiful and graceful the way the interviewee carried herself;

Meet Bokyoung Kim, a journalist and a news anchor of Arirang TV. Her academic background is no joke, she earned her degree from Yonsei university (one of the SKY/Big Three). In her work, she researches and reports on various cultural aspect and social issues in South Korea.

Asian Boss recently invited her as an expert in one of their deep dive videos on the birth rate issue.

And you're all correct, it's not difficult to fall in love with her.

People like categorizing in general. It’s human nature because it’s a way to protect ourselves.

It's a good heuristic to use, but one shouldn't forget that it is only a heuristic and nothing more. It might provide some insights into the personality of others or oneself, but it doesn't accurately define personality—which is fine. As long as people are aware of its limitations, they can use it as they please.

Now this is super interesting. MBTI really helped me understand myself, or why I seem socially out of step. It's not popular here in the UK though

I can relate to this woman. I swing between ESTP and ESTJ. Keep up the informative.street interviews, Kexplorer. Your efforts are appreciated. 👍😊

Plus, when there is a trend, the whole country goes berserk for some years before they move on to some other trend. It's in their culture.

I like the MBTI. The main set back is to make sure everyone has taken not only the correct test but also making sure you took it correctly lol

I love MBTI! I just love categories like zodiac sign, colors, etc. I don’t know why I’m obsessed with categories lol 😂

She is lovely, I could listen to her talking all day. A very pleasant personality. And she's right about what she's saying too.

As korean, we like to know MBTI results, not just for categorize people or pre judge them but we don't want to be rude each other.

It is actually quite useful to learn a person's personality type. Some people unfortunately mistype but after getting to know them for a bit you can tell which type they are. Especially the way they speak. Most people speak in patterns.
