I find myself taking stim-free pre workout since I dont want to have caffeine so late in the day- that shit will keep me up lol

I love my stim pre workout but because of my work schedule I’m only able to workout in the evenings, so I’ve been trying to switch it up to non stim pre workouts because I’ve had trouble sleeping in the past after taking my stim preworkout in the evening. Tbh the non stim isn’t as fun for me and I don’t enjoy it as much, but the trade off for me is being able to go to sleep a bit easier. I still take my stim preworkout on the weekends when I’m able to workout earlier in the day

The caffeine is doing 90% of the noticeable difference you get with preworkout. I wouldn’t waste your money

Pre workout especially stim can cause a lot of dehydration and digestion stress, most can get enough adequate caffeine from coffee or caffeine pills

Since I lift after work, I got a feeling if I took a pre I would never fall asleep that night. Some fruit and a little dark chocolate has worked well for me.

Nothing beats gorilla minds nitric formula. The combo of l citruline, creatine, glycerol, sodium nitrate, and potassium as a electrolyte. The pumps are ridiculous

I personally have taken a pre break for 9 months and after when i started taking it again my workouts are hitting much harder.

I've found if I'm not doing a powerlifting focused session. I get more out of a workout without stimulants.
Since I'm more calm I take the time with my hypertrophy movements and I get more sore since I do every excersize a little slower.

Caffeine is a vaso constrictor meaning alot of "pump" ingredients on a pre workout are basically useless when caffiene is added. Ergo why "pump" pre workouts tend not to have much or any Caffeine in them.

I have slight hypertension and for some time I have to go off caffeine. Stim free pwr is made for people like me

I'm gone be 100% honest I never felt anything different in a stim free pre workout. Granted my diet has alot of carbs, sodium and potassium and I try to drink alot water.


Also even regular pre workout like gorilla mode I never saw any noticeable difference between 2 scoops vs 1 cup of coffee besides having a very hard time falling asleep despite not taking any caffeine after 12pm and drinking it 30min before working out.


Personally it felt like it was a waste of money and I can't recommend pre workout when coffee gives me similar if not the same results.

i just do coffee and salt and i get mad pumps. dont waste money on pre workouts, unless you got more money than you need.

I don't like being cracked on caffeine when I work out. It's much harder to have that calm focus
