Sully Review - Collider Video

We give our Sully review for the new Clint Eastwood film. On Jan. 15, 2009, Capt. Chesley "Sully" Sullenberger (Tom Hanks) tries to make an emergency landing in New York's Hudson River after US Airways Flight 1549 strikes a flock of geese. Miraculously, all of the 155 passengers and crew survive the harrowing ordeal, and Sullenberger becomes a national hero in the eyes of the public and the media. Despite the accolades, the famed pilot now faces an investigation that threatens to destroy his career and reputation.

I enjoyed this format for a non spoiler review. A quick well scripted single person review, rather than a round table discussion based review. Though I do enjoy the latter for a spoiler review.

I don't understand why people dislike reviews. Even if I disagree I like reviews as long as they convey their points well enough. But I never dislike a review because I know film is subjective and that's their own opinion.

John thank you so much for this review. I'm sold. I'm happily going to go watch this movie. Plus it's hard not to love Tom Hanks. He always brings such an interesting human angle to every character he chooses to play. It's his every day ordinary man type of spirit that he brings to his roles that interests me.
