Thank you so much for this! My 3 yo likes to lock doors now and this is the second time this happened. My husband was with him last time and took down the entire door to get in there somehow. It took him like an hour. We are not the original owners, so we did not have the little key thing, but I had a tiny screwdriver that worked perfect! It took me like 2 minutes to get in. I lost my key eons ago so what I ended up doing was clipping a wooden cuticle stick (could’ve also probably used a sturdy toothpick) with some nail clippers to make a stick with a flat head.

You can unlock with a tiny screw driver or something like that as well but it really works best when the tool had a flat head so you can get in the little groove.

Again for two dollars and change, go to the grocery store and buy a can of spam period Spam is the spiced ham and a can. Each can of spam comes with a key to open up the spam. This key works perfectly on bedroom bathroom locked doors. has a little opening you can even put it on your keychain.
