It’s a miracle nobody is asking 14 bit yet 😅, 8 bit is perfect for most people who don’t want to colour grade afterwards and it saves battery life and storage. The 10 bit of DJI Action 5 pro is also having issues right now.

Excited to try the AP2, I do a lot of golfing videos like the idea of being able to double tap the screen to get that 2x zoom when the ball hits the green.

I Also like the idea of being able to delete videos during the recording. Not all golf shots are worth saving 😅

There is a massively huge difference between 16.7 million and 1 billion colors. If you put the word Pro in your name, and your 2 main competitors allow for 10 bit color, you have no choice but to offer the 10 Bit option.

Heck, I'm still rocking my OA 1, thing has been a damn trooper. From what I can gather, GoPro missed the mark with the 13, DJI looks like it kinda got some traction with the 5 but still needs to work through some FW updates to polish it up a bit. I didn't even know the Ace Pro 2 was coming out, can't wait to see what drops tomorrow.

I was so close to buying the Ace Pro, but the lack of being able to focus close in blew it for me. People had to 3d print lens mounts and buy big lenses to fix the problem! Such a fail for an action camera to not be able to do selfies/reaction shots in focus at arms length.

Hello Joseph! I sold my DJI Action 3 in anticipation of upgrading to the Action 5 Pro. I’m still sitting in the sidelines, and waiting to see what Insta 360 offers with the Ace Pro 2.
I agree that with the state of the tech, it would be difficult to purchase any new action-based camera without 10bit as an option. Fingers crossed, but we’ll find out soon!

I was going to buy the Ace Pro until I heard that when shooting in landscape the screen was black if wearing polarising sunglasses. Hopefully this won’t be a problem with the 2 and if it has 10 bit and a flat profile will most likely choose it over DJI 5 pro

bought the Action 5, even though I wanted to wait for the release of the Ace Pro 2. But I couldn't because I needed an action camera for a special shoot over several days. Now DJI has (almost) solved the bitrate issue by doubling the bitrate, which you can select if you want. I'm really excited now. But if there's no 10bit, then I'm out.

I have sold my GP 11 (previously GP8) to buy Insta 360 ace pro for low light, remote with life view and hassle-free use. BUT I'm holding up for Ace pro 2.
I hope I won't be disappointed. After all, I'm just an amateur. This removable microphone cover is promising. I sail and drive around on the MC.
