As a new learner I came to comment to try UNDERSTAND what s the faults but could not find anyone commenting seriously!

I used to inspect large concrete mixers as part of being a mechanic. I would do a brake check in our yard. I would get out and check for even skid marks. The boss always harpped on me for not going on the road for that. I just didn't think it was a good idea too much opportunity for badness to happen.

The handbrake should be the first thing you put on after stopping and the last thing to remove when pulling away.

After the stop the guy took it out of gear and the applied the handbrake. It should be handbrake first.

When pulling off you put it in gear and then remove the hand brake when pulling away. He took the hand brake off and then put it in gear.

Don't see a rear view mirror check when braking....rear end collisions are the most common.
