actually you have shadows of the trees in the water so that's why generate s other trees, the same is with removing any object without selecting it's shadow, it will generate another object not removing it

Worth mentioning that you get a limited number of generative "credits" each month so wouldn't waste them messing around.

I tried the Generative Erase feature in Camera Raw. The object, a post, had a similar color as the clothing on the person in the photo. It never completely removed the post. I Photoshop it worked perfectly.

Did you already have a correction applied to that couple from the first photo?
It looks as if the exposure (or whatever) was brought up on them before applying the remove tool... So when they're removed, the correction mask is still there and that's what we're seeing.

Actually, it would be awesome if LR lets us use the same masks identified from the adjustment brushes. So we don't need to paint the area especially like just changing the eye direction. Not even sure if I'm making sense. lol

I've found that the Remove Tool in PS still works better than the Generative Remove in Lr. I'm not sure but I don't think your credits for Generative Ai tools in PS counts in Lr YET !!!! But I'm sure it will . They need to tease you first
