Talking about his experiences within the band is okay, but talking about personal lives and upbringing is where he crosses the line. Especially since Zayn was the target of *so much* racism and islamophobia when he was in the band and none of them (to my recollection) said or did anything to defend him.

Amidst all of this, what made me the happiest was, zayn coming online, dropping his merch launch, minding his business, spreading awareness about and contributing to the End Gun Violence initiative and not giving a single eff about liam 😭 he knows his priorities and he has them set right. Love that for zayn. ❤️

I'm going to be honest. I COMPLETELY forgot about Liam. I constantly listen to his ex bandmate's music and didn't even realize I haven't heard any of his solos lol. Guess I'll just keep it that way.

Going to be pretty honest, and say that most of what Liam said wasn’t a big deal. He’s allowed to speak in his experience in a band and it’s naive to think a group of teen boys got on 24/7. The issues with what he said were speaking on other bad members story’s. He shouldn’t have spoken on zayns personal life at all.

Now I understand why Zayne left the band. With each members having these strong individual personalities and then forcing yourself to work with them might be the most exhausting thing you can do.

A lot of One direction’s dirty laundry has been public knowledge by now. A majority of their suffering was due to horrible management that overworked them and boiled them down to one characteristic. Liam should just focus on his own life, not meddling in his former band mates lives.

It is true, Liam was the “lead” of the band. But like you said, Harry was the favorite & other members almost always outshined him.. to the point that we forgot Liam was the lead

What's funnier is, zayn offered these insights without shading any member and as respectfully as he could, to try and make people understand how boybands truly work on the inside but he was called ungrateful by fans and THE SAME LIAM PAYNE was out here denying that anything like that ever happened among them. Oh how the tables have turned.

One thing that I really hate about this drama is that they never liked each other and that is 100% okay. People keep saying about tarnishing memories but those memories are lies because in reality they never liked each other. Why isn't it okay for people to just not like each other and be honest about it since when did that become a crime
