Mobile Scanning below ground

I've recently been experimenting with the Leica Geosystems part of Hexagon BLK2GO. It's one of an ever growing selection of hand held laser scanners. Those that know me will confirm I'm quite bad at planning stuff for the future. Some would say spontaneous to be polite. What I like about the BLK2GO is it's small so I often find myself 'spontaneously' using it.

I'm fascinated by the way that LiDAR allows you to see the world in a different way. Spatial relationships that are impossible to see otherwise become quite clear. Here is a wonderful little bar in Camden, London called Crossroads which has made the transition from public toilet to cosy cocktail joint!

You can start the scanner on a bar but you need to put your drink down.
