Thanks for making this video! I'm shocked that ADHD is not a learning disability

I am so happy to have come across this video because I am studying about reading support strategies for dyslexic learners. In fect, little is known in my country Lesotho in the Southern Africa about dyslexia. I just jumped into support for a reason that, affected learners seem to be really frustrated and most of us primary school teachers have no idea on how to help them learn to read. I am extremely excited, I now know you can be with me on my journey.

Imagine how many people send their children to school every day, not knowing that they are not excelling because of I don’t like to call it a learning disability. I like to call it a different way of learning.

A lot of these symptoms or all can be caused by light sensitivity, which forces the Brain to work harder. Simply wearing a hat visor (similar to golfers) can help tremendously. There's a tool you can wear as glasses that act as filters. Look up Scotopic Sensitivity Syndrome, you'll find them.

Hey, thanks a lot for this video ! Very informative 😊😮❤

I have an important question about a student of mine. He is almost completely incapable of listening to the speech, even if he is interested. He only knows what topic was discussed but isn’t able to follow the lesson. Sometimes he surprises me with good homework though, so it seems he is capable to process information once he looks at it in quiet alone. Which kind of learning disability do think this might be? Auditory processing disorder?
