I could not find the Thermal Time Constant info on any data sheet so I took a chance and purchased one. I measured a whopping 8 minute Time Constant. It take 40 minutes to reach a new temperature. FAR too slow for what I need so I returned it.

Is it possible for the data logger to connect to the USB port and immediately open a window with the report, without the need for this computer to have Elitech software? At my work, the computers do not allow you to install software outside the service. I wanted to use this data logger to monitor a vaccine refrigerator. thanks

I now have one and so far love it. A question though - can it store more than one program and then I pick which one to run? I may need it for an astronomical event where I may not have immediate access to a computer to adjust things, so having multiple templates would be nice.

Hello, I have the RC-5+ I am able to start recording after I have set the parameters in software, but if I stop the recording, I am not able to start it again without saving parameters to it again. Is this normal? if not, how can I start and stop multiple times? Does it append to an existing log, or start a new file?
