I’m from Dearborn, Mi and I always see the new Ford fleet driving in my neighborhood. They test drive new vehicles right down my street.

The word here in Australia is that our new gen Ranger and Everest (wagon version of the Ranger) will have the power stroke v6 turbo diesel from the F-150. There will also be collaboration with VW to produce the Amarok on the same platform.

If the engine fits... let people decide if they want the medium truck with a big engine. Not everyone needs/wants the size of the f-150, but they want the v8 power, or v6.
I'm sure Ford has priced out how to make the most money from their yearly updates though. It's annoying waiting.

The biggest improvement I am interested in is the interior: dash design/materials, power folding mirrors, rear seat 60/40 split, rear seat that folds flat and a trailer brake controller. Do that and I am good to go.

Really wish they would offer the 3.3L V6 in the Ranger. Some guys/gals want V8s in their F150 for longevity sake, I’d think many would want the 3.3L V6 for longevity sake.
