POSSESSION : The state of having or owning something. There are two structures for this, BrE (British English) and NAmE (North American English).

STRUCURES:
POSITIVE, NEGATIVE & QUESTION

BrE: S + HAVE/HAS + GOT + SOMETHING (noun)
S + HAVE/HAS + NOT + GOT + SOMETHING (noun)
HAVE/HAS + S + GOT + SOMETHING (noun) ?

I have got a book.
We have got a new apartment.
I have not got a laptop.
I have not got a water bottle.
Have you got a pencil?
Has She got a camera?

POSITIVE, NEGATIVE & QUESTION

NAmE: S + HAVE/HAS + SOMETHING (noun)
S + DO/DOES + NOT + HAVE + SOMETHING + (noun)
DO/DOES + S + HAVE + SOMETHING (noun)

I have a brother and two sisters.
They have a football.
Peter does not have a mobile phone.
My brother and I have a bicycle.
Do you have a car?
Does he have time to talk with us?
