How to Cook BULGUR WHEAT

These succulent skewers of chicken with vegetables are marinated in a delicious bbq sauce, served with healthy bulgur wheat. This healthy meal is a great way to start the new year.

Ingredients:
250g chicken breast
1 courgette
1 red onion
1 pepper
Salt and pepper
olive oil
100g Sahara BBQ Sauce

120g Bulgar Wheat
4g tomato paste
4g veg stock cube
water

Method:
1) Place wooden skewers in cold water, heat oven 200°C
2) chop veggies 1 inch peices
3) mix together chicken, sauce, salt, pepper, oil and veggies in a bowl
4) Build the skewers alternating chicken and veg
5) into oven for 20 mins

For the Bulgar Wheat
1) Add boiling water 1 inch above the bulgar wheat in a sauce pan
2) Add veg stock, oil and tomato paste
3) good mix then simmer for 15 mins
4) remove from heat and fluff using a fork

15 minutes! I have literally simmered bulgar wheat for an hour and it's still hard!
