Development is all about options. If you feel you need the added functionality and type checking of another language, but don't want to leave your beloved JavaScript, TypeScript might be for you.

Awesome content as always. I just love the way you present a topic, it's understandable, yet really professional.

Now you can run typescript with deno, new environment made by creator of Node.js. Hope major browser vendors will make ts running in browser natively in 2-3 years

What will be the colour of your Video Title for TypeScript because you have used the JavaScript colour (Yellow) and it’s obvious that we all want more TypeScript video (Where we also want NodeJs TypeScript videos so you might need to find an other title colour for that too) I hope you will be interested doing more TypeScript Video I think too many people are seeing that as too much exotic for them maybe ... and these videos might help people understand how much a nice language it is

dynamicly typed data types are flexible, when you don't use them, you put logic in the program to handle things otherwise dealt with simply by checking the variable and dealing with the fact that it can have other types. This extra logic also introduces the chance for bugs. It motivates polymorphic functions which introduce the chance for bugs and different behavior... so I personally don't believe staticly typed languages are inherently safer because of it.

What is that " ls -l * " command ? Not working in my machine. I have zsh shell, does it work with Bash only ?

there are a lot of ugly things in typescript too. So i will still complain about javascript, and also typescript.

Nothing can help with the issues I have with Javascript, for for example I don't think it does concurrency particularly well or pleasantly, Golang, Erlang, Scala, Elixir, etc are just much better and much more pleasant to use when it comes to that. Thankfully I can increasingly avoid JS thanks to things like Liveview, Blazor, etc, which for example let as move all our admin, dashboards, etc back to the backend and just uses JS as a thin UI interaction layer, which reduced complexity, improved productivity and upped developer happiness.

Complaining even about TypeScript? Try Dart! :D

There is next-gen Javascript called Babel which is a JavaScript compiler to make things simple if people are complaining, but still wants javascript to get away from Microsoft so badly if that is the case. Then this is for you, so go ahead and knock yourself out.

Well, I complain about js for none of those things so I will skip this one.
