so many space related channels click-bait and lie… but you give it to us straight ‼️ thank you for the great stuff ‼️

Lagrange point 2 thus it could possibly run into James Webb unless they put a camera on her. Then instead of gas thrusters to hold position she needs some of those new propellantless thrusters while she dances with James Webb in the cosmic Tango.

Many thanks Chris for another fascinating insight into telescope development. I’m looking forward to your video explaining how the Roman telescope will “detect” dark matter. Out of curiosity Chris, if you could chose any part of the electromagnetic spectrum to focus on astronomical observations where would your interest lie? The extreme “ends” of the electromagnetic spectrum I think remain unknown. Of course the term “ends” in this sense is relative!

Why don't they use magnetic force to hold secondary mirror

Thank you for another great satellite explainer! I love that you combine the purpose and architecture into an explanation of its specific capabilities for astrophysics

Great video Chris, would love to know more about how it is used to detect dark energy. Thanks

Its seems so cute when you say "Bye 😇"...

Still can't get one thing... Can Roman see wavelengths longer than webb or shorter than webb... The Roman team could also have integrated MIRI like instrument in Nancy Grace Roman Space telescope... James Webb recently sent a picture of Einstein's ring... That was awesome ... I am excited about how Jwst will image Andromeda's blackhole and M87 blackhole...

We can also get rid of those diffraction spikes if we manage to biuld a secondary mirror magnetically locked in place which requires no struts... I mean to say something like magnetic levitation.

Looks like it has a protective shield from small things Colliding into the mirror.

Too bad that pairs of struts aren't parallel lowering the number of spikes.
Maybe more and heavier bracing behind the Secondary Mirror?

How far into the infrared will the Nancy Grace Roman Space Telescope be able to see? JWST gets into the mid, but we currently have nothing in space that sees far-infrared. Will this fill that need? (I hope, I hope...)

I think the JWST just got someone to hold its beer regarding the Chromograph 🙃

So? Swords into plowshares isn't new or bad.

Why you saying jwst doesn’t have a chronograph when your next video is about a picture taken with jwst using its chronograph?
