The most requested cartoon I cover, by far, Randy Cunningham: 9th Grade Ninja is a surprise that sure packs a punch. Only lasting for two seasons and leaving on such an open ended note, Randy Cunningham: 9th Grade Ninja now has this slice of fans wanting more even all these years later. Today, let's take a look at what made Randy Cunningham: 9th Grade Ninja so special, how it came to be and what happened to it!

Thanks so much for watching! If Randy Cunningham: 9th Grade Ninja had the chance to return, would you watch it?

Randy Cunningham, Kick Buttowski and Milo Murphy's Law really need an another season. All of them looks unfinished

The Ninjanomicon not using _real_ Japanese writing actually makes sense, even if unintentionally, as ninja clans would devise their own secret code languages to guard their secrets. So "looks like a bunch of badly written kana at a glance, doesn't make sense if you actually try reading it as the nearest visually matching glyphs" works.

Few things I enjoyed of this show:
The Ninjanomicon style for each of its lessons looked different because each one was written by a different Ninja down the line.
Another thing, because the Ninja is a title passed down along the years, people already know about the Ninja and theres a lot of fans in the student body.

If I had a nickel every time Ben Schwartz voiced a teenage Ninja, I'd have two nickels. It's not a lot but it's weird that it happened twice

Never watched Randy but I never knew about Invader Zim's creator being a part of the show 👀

No joke, this show meant a lot to me as a kid, and even now as an adult, the show is unironically one of my favorites. The fandom is very much still kicking on Tumblr, and I'm still an active fandom goer. (I straight up have some art of the show as my phone's home and lock screen).

The show slaps, and I wish we would get more. I'm not entirely hopeful of this, but hey, miracles happen :')

I'm glad you covered the show, and I'm even happier you had fun watching it! Hoping more people give the show a shot and enjoy it 😁

Dude, this show is one of my favorites: not only did it have great voice actors like Ben Schwartz and Tim Curray, but it also had great action and likable characters and a good story. It definitely needs a third season

This show was underrated I mean miraculous ladybug is essentially this show and everyone likes it and it gets six seasons and a movie that's beyond sophomore level respect

I remember enjoying this show for its style. That, and I thought that Randy and Theresa had this really adorable “school kid crush” dynamic that kept me watching, eager to see if anything came out of it.

Sadly, I was also starting to hit that “I’m getting too old for cartoons” phase all pre-teens/teens go through. So my interest was sporadic and then faltered. Shame it ended so quickly :/

This show came out when I was still young enough to have cartoon crushes, and damn was Randy just the perfect cartoon boy

Well, now that Randy has gone off and taken a role as Sonic, I doubt he’s still cheap enough to warrant Disney making a final season.

I love Ben Schwartz’s voice acting, he fit Randy PERFECTLY. It’s always a blast whenever I recognize his voice in other TV show’s

The voice cast for this show was absolutely STACKED.

1. I remember seeing Jed Elinoff & Scott Thomas's work on Scooby Doo Mystery Incorporated season 1, which made me excited for this show. It doesn't disappoint.

2. I can say the voice acting in the show is spot on in part because of the show's voice director Ginny McSwain. She's had decades of experience in the industry, but the standouts include projects like Darkwing Duck, Goof Troop, various Winnie The Pooh projects, Jimmy Neutron, Chalkzone, Transformers Rescue Bots, The Batman (2004), and Gravity Falls.

This show was actually my first introduction to Ben Schwartz, which solidified him as one of my favorite voice actors/actors and comedians of all time. Needless to say, not only does this extremely underrated show deserves the third season it never got, but Randy, in my opinion, is probably one of the most powerful Disney cartoon protagonists there is. (Also, probably something nobody really considered, but does anyone else even acknowledge that Randy’s Ninja Rage is virtually identical to Bill from Gravity Falls when HE gets angry? Surprised there’s not much fan art of that)

One of my favorite things I love about Randy Cunningham, besides the characters and the character and monster designs by Jhonen Vasquez is the Entire voice cast and it's a huge voice cast for sure from Ben Schwartz, Andrew Caldwell, John DiMaggio, Kevin Michael Richardson, Tim Curry (the Legendary *GOAT* himself), Jim Rash, along with Dee Bradley Baker, Scott Menville, Grey Delisle-Griffin, Kari Wahlgren, Dave Wittenberg, Carlos Alazraqui, Fred Tatasciore, April Stewart, Keith Ferguson, Rob Paulsen, Jim Cummings, Gary Anthony Williams, Sarah Hyland, Cassie Scherbo, Jennifer Tilly, Jason Earles, Annie Potts, Bobcat Goldthwait, Andy Dick, Andy Richter, David Koechner, Danni Pudi, Paul Reubens, Jon Lovitz, Bill Hader, John Oliver, Simon Pegg, Patrick Warburton, Laura Morano, Sterling Knight, Parvesh Cheena, Piper Curda, Joel McHale, Megan Mullally, Judy Reyes, Richard Kind, Steve Zahn, Neil Flynn (The Middle), Robert Englund, James Hong, Gilbert Gottfried (RIP), and John Witherspoon (RIP).

That's a huge variety of voice actors and celebrities all in this aninated series.

Speaking of which I notice that Jim Rash (Principal Slimovitz), Joel McHale (First Ninja) and Danny Pudi (Lavander) who were in this series also worked on _Community_ along with the fact that Jim Rash, Danni Puddi and Ben Schwartz would later reunite again for the 2017 _DuckTales_ reboot.

Also, if _Randy Cunningham_ did continued just imagine if they had brought in more actors from _Community_ such as Yvette Nicole Brown, Jillian Jacobs, Alison Brie, Donald Glover, and Ken Jeong, those from _Parks and Recreation_ which previously had Ben Schwartz involved such as Amy Phoeler, Rashida Jones, Nick Offerman, Chris Pratt, Aziz Anzari and Aubrey Plaza or even the likes of Sandra Oh, Stephanie Beatriz, Ron Perlman, Steve Blum, Ben Diskin, Yuri Lowenthal and Mark Hamill.

Jordan, I want to thank you so much for doing a video on _Randy Cunningham 9th Grade Ninja._

This show was Bruce and the Cheese, along with Ben Schwartz doing a phenomenal job as Randy Cunningham, not to mention this was _Miraculous Ladybug_ before we had _Miraculous Ladybug_ due to the fact that both the Sorcerer and Hawk Moth curse/transform their victims into an evil entity/monster when the victim becomes vulnerable and scared.

Hope you get to do videos dedicated to Motorcity, Tron: Uprising and especially Penn Zero as those shows like Randy Cunningham did came out on Disney XD, with the latter hardly being talked about as much.
