Inventor teacher a role model for her students

Although S. Gomathy teaches in a rural Tamil school in Johor, her innovations has earned her more than 200 accolades both locally and internationally.

To date, the 51-year-old science teacher with over 27 years of teaching experience has innovated some 60 different inventions.

She has been featured in international magazines and newsletters and
has even travelled abroad to receive prizes for her creations.

Just a general opinion out there, that teaching in itself needs a certain skill set? Teaching young minds with prepared syllabus/notes, step by step is very rewarding surely. *Within Education Ministry guidelines it's a good role model to share I guess. Why not go further with the herbal soap, for example, and make it commercial? This will, I feel, could make the pupils even more positive?* There's a satisfaction of sharing in a 'business' that generates some monetary rewards. The public/parents feedback and support would grow for Scientific projects too😊
