i actually, genuinely cry everytime i listen to this because for me it has an attachment to an extremely stressful part of my life and a boy i absolutely adored, who turned me down after a months of me thinking he liked me back, at the worst possible time he turned me down. he said things like "i'm gonna kill myself" and just generally suicidal thingse had depression and anxiety, his single mother was emotionally abusive and he was trans so i knew i HAD to keep an eye on him. it was long distance though (i lived in michigan at the time, he lived in france) so it was really hard. after he said all this he disappeared for a week. while i tried to get him back, i listened to this. after the first 3 days, where i had pretty much given up and assumed the worst, i listened to this and quietly sobbed in my room because he was so nice to me and he struggled with me. he was actually the one who introduced me to peep.
