I bought the same color last month. Have 800 miles so far and just had my first service. I upgraded from an Aprilia RS 660. I was original going to stick with Aprilia and go with an rsv4 but after riding my buddies s1k, I knew this was the direction I wanted to go. It's a comfortable supersport with loads of tech. Rsv4 was crazy aggressive. No regrets. Congrats on the bike 👍

Love bike I had mine come directly from Germany and picked it up at the dealership.. bmw is definitely the most luxurious bike you can buy and super smooth. On the other hand the only real con for me is the fan lol and how quick the engine gets hot. I staged 1 brentuned mine about 4 months ago and it feels way better. Took a little hot too the gas tank since it runs a little bit leaner but it's okay for me

Hey mate just subscribed love from australia, nice quality videos, your bike should have race pro modes when you do the first service.
once you've done the necessary mods to the bike it will be night and day difference in terms of performance.
a s1k with 3 mods full exhaust system/filter/tune and any light weight rider is extremely hard to beat in a straight line
it actually feels like cheating with just those 3 main mods LOL.
the beamer is the king of bolt ons with good reason, enjoy the bike mate.

Got a 2022. Wait to you put a tune on it. I got the BT Stage 2 and the Sprint filter, M4 full exhaust.It will power wheelie with no problem after the tune.

Man heading to the dealer this Saturday. I had put a deposit on one about a month ago and had been on the fence with this and the Streetfighter v2 which was so fun to ride considering the riding position but considering what you get the BMW seems to have more value for you buck..decisions, decisions..

What about maintenance? What about issues? I can get a straight steal on a 22 s1000rr for 14500 stock or a 22 gsxr 1000r for 13000 with full exhaust

Had to give up the panigale because it was too agressive. Back then the s1000r had the funky head lights that I didnt like so i didnt replace it. Now that im ready for another sports bike, is this one much more comfortable for the streets? Im not planning on bringing it on the track.
