GForce Wedge - Improve Distance Control, Make Solid Contact & Eliminate The Yips...
Показать описание
Since Rory hooked up with new coach Pete Cowen early this year, I got the phone call I had been waiting for from Pete "Can you send some clubs to Rory" :-)
"Just getting the club into the correct delivery position is the key to it's use! and the correct loading and unloading of the shaft makes it easy to understand what's required..! he's starting to play much more consistently and with more control of his ball flight" Pete Cowen - PGA Tour Coach
They are using it to help with Rory's swing path, from transition to halfway down which Pete refers to as getting into the correct delivery position. The ideal delivery position halfway down is where the shaft is parallel with your feet line, from here you get so much more control over the ball.
Tour players typically get too far inside at this point and most amateurs get too far outside at that point, this requires a lot of compensations from the body to correct, leading to inconsistent results.
The result of a incorrect delivery position with the swing trainers would be shots out of the toe and missing to the right, because if you don't get into the correct delivery position the shaft won't activate and unload correctly, which is the key requirement to squaring the face of the GForce Swing Trainers resulting in improved swing mechanics.
I thought I would share this fantastic video with some great instruction using the GForce Wedge from Rotary Swing Founder Chuck Quinton, explaining the concept behind the GForce Super Flexible Shaft, which also applies to the driver and 7 iron shaft concept, where he describes the unloading of the shaft, enjoy :-)
