Most Americans can't afford a new vehicle or house these days.

Affordable new cars aren't there. If a car payment is over $350, it's too much. Only fools pay over $350 a month for a new car. So they must build cars for $20, 000 and lower, much lower. Since they won't they'll all go belly up. And they deserve to go out of business. I could care less if these greedy manufacturers do go out of business.

Maybe if they weren't trying to charge $80, 000 for a vehicle that's not even worth $20, 000 they wouldn't be suffering. The Chinese make brand new vehicles itself for less than $10, 000. You know why? Because they're not super freaking greedy like US companies that want to make $50, 000 profit on every vehicle.

Fixing it is easy. Get rid of outside markets and bring back American made competition

With inflation, people can’t afford rent or mortgage. The car is the first thing to go as far as new cars! People are just buying used or holding on to what they have! We had a housing recession back in 08. We are now in a Automotive recession!
