This is such a kickass and thorough solution to one of those things that ALWAYS bugs me (when I can tell there is ADR but it doesn't match well) - but I've never been able to tell what was really wrong with it thus never knowing what to do about it. Great vid, gents :)

Thank you guys for your videos. What you do is very cool!!! Picture sound everything is on top! I like the way you provide information, short and clear!

great way to get better ADR audio. To improve the IRs, simply pop a balloon instead of clapping (carefull with balancing your levels and also protect your ears)

I'm so glad I watched until the dead cat "boop" at the end. Well done guys

Really solid know-how! I've always wondered if there's a way to capture the reverb of a room and transpose it to your film. Excited to see what you put out next!

Why not use a different impulse response for the left and the right to create a stereo reverb?

Hi, saw you are using audition, i have a question, you can set your edit section on grid made by frames and also, can you navigate with a one frame nudge right and left on the time line? Like people do on protools with + and - of numpad

Great video. Quick question: would not the slate clap be a better source of an impulse response?

Hi, congrats for your video. Just a question: I understand the method to transform a mono IR to a stereo IR (via delay), but what if I need to transform a mono IR into a 5.1 IR? (Thanks in advance.)

I think you can get better stereo results if you pan one track left and then duplicate and pan the other right but load another of the stairwell transients as an IR.

WOW such a great technic. I think it can be used in matching the lavs with Boom mic aswell.

he irony of the guest having a terrible audio mix though... Never thought of using IRs for video though. Pretty smart. In the music world its super common.

@2:05 Was the lack of room tone here supposed to be a teaching moment? (Seriously asking.)
