Peter King, I'm glad I listened to every minute of this podcast. The exchange of information and opinions was outstanding. Thank you both.

Henry Ruggs was the “bell of the ball” in the 2020 draft? That’s the first I’ve ever heard that. The way I remember it was most people had him as the third best WR behind CD Lamb and Jerry Jeudy. I thought he was a typical first round reach for Gruden and Mayock. I know Peter King is better tapped into the NFL than I, but I’m just saying I’ve never heard anything before about Ruggs being considered a blue chip prospect, or being the “bell of the ball.”

I believe that if the Jets draft Williams it better be because he is elite like some of the stars named. The Jets don’t have room to waste a pick on an okay receiver, they need a receiver who is great and ready to go now.

Thibideau is interesting. The scouts all ding him on his attitude because it doesn’t fit their relatively antiquated ideas. He reminds me of Justin Herbert, and not just because they both went to Oregon. Herbert got dinged because he chose to stay at Oregon for his senior year. The NFL scouts thought the didnt love football because he didn’t want to go to the NFL as soon as he could. Well he grew up in Eugene as a massive Ducks fan. He’s father played for Oregon. His senior year he got to play with his younger brother. He was 12-2 and won the Rose Bowl. And they thought all that was bad?

Been telling people for weeks that they want cross over the other guys. He is SPECIAL and the Giants are correct here. Cross NEVER gets beat. Ever. He will be a rookie probowler.

Why skip teams picks? Wasted my time waiting to get Vikings pick, and you can't even quickly say who they pick? ☹️

I don’t see how the Giants take Cross at 5 in this scenario. If you’ve got Neal and Cross available at #5, I would assume you’d take your other top choice at #5 and then pick up Cross at #7.

Worst case, you end up taking Neal.

I hope Schrager is right with his Jets picks. KT and Williams. 🤞🏼🤞🏼

Each team has a draft board and each team's staff probably has their own personal draft board in their mind and favourites they're lobbying for. The GM and coach might have different preferences and how their relationship is might influence who wins there and then the owner can veto them. Plus sometimes guys fall surprisingly far because something is discovered but not necessarily leaked to the press. When guys fall it can shift a whole draft plan. Mock drafts are fun little things you can read to learn more about the rookies, that's all.

Aldon Smith, 19 tfl, 11.5 sacks Travon Walker 7.5, is your comparison for Trent Balke?

These two are exhausting with all of their references to sources. They try to one up each other time after time. It is off putting.

Anyone notice the subtitle at 23:13? Seattle wants the talent of Derek's tingly junior. That's what she and other teams said

Why would Atlanta take an OL when they got Matthews at LT, drafted RT McGary in 1st in 2019, RG Lindstrom in 1st at 2019 and they need a whole defense and WR?
