I love Kyra and I love Brenda as a character. And I love every character in the show, because each one has a personality. They make you laugh, they make you cry, they give you emotions. And Brenda is sucha a smart woman in a chief position. I love the show. I think I've already seen like 5 or 6 times and I'd watch it again. I'm really upset that there isn't more of it.

Reading the comments, I was surprised to learn there are so many new fans of the show. The very first time I saw "The Closer" was in February 2021 on StarTV. I just never watched American tv before, quite pleased to be given the opportunity to see it!

I just discovered the show it is absolutely the best thing I’ve seen in years and for years I’ve been saying they just don’t make good shows anymore. Shame on me this is just God gifted talent all around from the writers to the production to the actors who portrayed such great character diversity I love this show

This is definitely the best cop show since Hill Street Blues, The Shield, Homicide Life on The Street, In The Heat of The Night and New York Undercover. Bar none! Terrific cast and lovable and relatable characters, strong mysteries and a good mix of humor and drama. This show has been a great find for me.

This was one of the best shows on TV. I so wish they would reunite and grace us all with another at least 10 seasons. That would be one show that would blow every other show off the air.

Dang, just discovering this series via my local channel, cause I'm no paying for cable again. I'm truly addicted to the series. it's well written and I enjoy the characters and plot twist. Quality show that entertains and does not insult the viewers. Luv it!

I just wanted to make a comment about this series. This is the only TV I watch. Kyra Sedgwick is an amazing actress. Along with the rest of the cast. This is a great part of entertainment.

it is so hard to not be in shock by hearing her without that accent like.... I'm so used to it, it's amazing

I watch this show on Pluto and it's so nice to be able to watch the whole show without the bleeping of certain words that you knew they were saying but when they get bleeped out it just doesn't work.
But there were a lot of episodes that were really really powerful in certain scenes that just made me cry and when I watch the series again I will cry at those certain spots all over again
Where Brenda's mother dies and Brenda finds her the next morning, when Julio just breaks down I will cry and when Sergeant Gabriel finds out about that little girl I will cry just certain little things I will cry I will get mad but I can see that the people on this show really work together they are friends they are family and that's what makes this show work😊❤

Having cats, I recognized that "Kitty" was actually sick during those episodes. Looked it up and confirmed my suspicion. Our cat, Annie, had a very similar look shortly before her death.
