Oh Marrakech, such a beautiful city.
I visited spring 2020 and, actually arranged my very own tours. Had a wonderful time, a lovely Arab guy almost flew me over a very busy street and I was sure he wanted to get me killed by a. Moroccan car but, I'm still here and, he's probably still laughing 😊,
The palaces are 100% amazing and, so is the medina and the riads👍
The food is well tasting and correct, no entrence to the mosks.. This woman really wanted to see the architecture in one of them and, one morning when I passed by my local one, I tried to sneak up to the door but, when I was about to peep in, I had a friendly touch on my shoulder. When I turned around, I met some laughing blue eyes of the imam who said that as far as he could see, I was neither male nor a Muslim which I had to agree to.

He wasn't allowed to let me in but, we ended up having a good conversation which we continued every morning when I passed him, for the rest of my visit. An absolutely lovely man whom I will visit again should I come back again one day. No religious bla-bla, just good normal conversations and, he was the one, who guided me to the place I found the best spices.. All in all a wonderful city and, it hurt me so much when I heard about the Earth quake..
Lots of love to Marrakech from Dublin and I ❤️🌹❤️
