I am from Mauritania and I am a long time subscriber but I never thought you'd talk about my country in your videos.
As you said in islam it is encouraged to marry widows.
But the biggest misconception is that it is encouraged here but it's not, even parents can't meddle in the marriage it is seen as a big Taboo, but if it happens the family welcomes the woman to make her feel like it's nothing and everything is okay they sometimes even celebrate it as a way to make her more comfortable.
