Another point - OP would *never* be even vaguely safe at the father's company unless his traitorous brother was fired, banned from the premises and removed from any connection to the company. He had no choice, even if you set any other consideration aside.

OP should NOT accept any money from his family. The father would somehow tie that money to the younger brother, and the father's investment in OP's company would then become the brother's investment.
