Exploring Riga, Latvia’s Amazing Capital

In this travel vlog I am in the beautiful capital city of Riga, Latvia! I visit places such as Riga Central Market, St. Peter's Church and Riga Cathedral!

In this video I am exploring around some of Riga's top spots. I start off the day by heading to the central market which is the largest one in Europe! After that I head to St. Peter's Church where I climb up to the top to get a lovely view over the Old Town. I then start to wander the streets and stumble across some of the many monuments and sculptures Riga has on offer. I take some time to explore around the War Museum before going into the cathedral for a look around. While there is still some daylight left I head to do a boat sightseeing tour which provides a unique look at the city from a different perspective. The final attraction that I visit at the end of the day is the House of the Blackheads before buying myself the national football shirt of Latvia!

TIPS: In Riga must see: Riga Motor Museum, also Occupation museum, Railway museum ( next to national library -free - u can get nice view to Riga downtown from there ).. also good view is from: National Science academy building, ( looks like empire state building in NY )

As a person who lived in Riga all my life it surprises me that someone actually pays money to visit us.

In Latvia, you get a fine in 15 minutes, if you are at the sea in the wrong place at the wrong time, a fine from 100 to 1000€, be careful. you can be fined €30 for parking your car near the store.
