I'm glad Mikael is using his low clean vocals more in the new album, He has a deep voice when he talks normal, I always wanted him to take advantage of that to sing low notes and i knew he'd sound great cuz he'll be doing that effortlessly

In contrast to their (also outstanding) earlier albums, the §1 & §3 are more varied, characterized by faster melody changes and therefore less predictable. Love it!

Opeth is a unique band and they explore the dark side of family stories and ancestors, ghost lore and haunted victorian mansions like no one. But they have to make their sound even more theatrical and charming with more haunting noises and explore more the lore they create so geniusly
