I love how when Vegeta and Goku are both done powering up and start to advance, Goku actually follows Vegeta's lead. That just shows how much respect Goku has for Vegeta not only as a Warrior, but as a FRIEND as well.

i always loved goku powering up, but if im honest vegeta's powerups were always more emotional and heartfelt, like he is the only one in my book truly deserving huge powerups for how hard he works

I never really thought about this before, but Vegeta's transformation is to keep the sayian race alive. In his universe there is only a handful of sayians. His new form is a result of doing everything he can to save the universe 6 sayians, seeing as they are still a civilization. King Vegeta did everything possible to preserve his race.
