It's cool how Gohan doesn't realize that Goku training was the very reason he got so strong. The tougher the opponent, the stronger he gets. And Gohan didn't realize he was Goku's greatest opponent at that time.

You can tell the care toriyama put into this arc, look at Gohan standing there not surprised at all and not struggling. Foreshadowing for the future.

Its literally AMAZING what good music can do to a scene. This was pretty average dialogue, but the music enhanced the entire scene so much you get goosebumps. Falconer killed it!

I adore how you can see the naiveness of Trunks and Gohan. They thought the other grades of SSJ were the best thing ever. Goku and Vegeta alone knew the downsides immediately upon reflection. Goku explained this to Gohan in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber; Trunks thought he became more powerful than his father when in reality, Vegeta was just too smart to push it to the point of uselessness. It shows the fight IQ of them both.

For those that didnt watch DragonBall OS, Korin was actually the one that taught Goku how to sense Ki, which is why he goes to him specifically to compare his and Cell's power levels.
