When the snowstorm started, people were complaining that it was being exaggerated. Comments like, “There’s only 4 inches of snow.” “It’s just a regular winter.”
Here we are after the snowstorm and there was actually 20 inches of snow.

What are they supposed to do if they have no one else to do it for them? I don't see any of the younger people coming out to help them. I will be 60 in 14 days and today it was me and my trusty snow blower out cleaning my and my elderly neighbors driveways and sidewalks. The law says they must be cleaned within 8-12 of the end of the storm. Most of them can barely afford their meds and food much less paying someone or the fines for not doing it. My pay for the day was a container of homemade chili and yes I had 2 heart attacks in the past.

Its human nature for the old timers to want to get out there to clear the snow.

They need a yooper scooper. You slide the snow instead of lifting it. When the container is full you pull the handle back to empty it. It was invented in Scandinavian. It is also used in Canada and the upper peninsula of Michigan. Way less effort than using a shovel. Amazon has one made by garant.

That's why it's always good to round up the local neighborhood kids give them a few bucks and have them shovel your stuff out.
