Rusty switchblade knife restoration. In this video I showed the restoration of an old rusty knife. I like these knives. This knife has a handle similar to a Roman legionnaire. I decided to restore this knife. I removed the rust, made the mechanism and brass linings. I hope you enjoyed my restoration video.

Beautiful work! I was skeptical at first about replacing the scales with brass, but I love the result. Anyone would be proud to carry that knife. I don’t see how it could be better.

loved watching you do the restoration. I liked how you made the brass scales and the look of them. I did hammer finish on Aluminium at Metal Work in school so I was familiar with that process. I think you could has resurrected the original aluminium scales it you wanted to, only one of them was bent!!
