Preliminary 4.4-magnitude earthquake rattles Los Angeles

A preliminary 4.4-magnitude earthquake struck about just east of downtown Los Angeles this afternoon, according to the United States Geological Survey and fire officials. There have been no major reports of damage so far, but L.A. Fire Department personnel are surveying neighborhoods to assess critical infrastructure. NBC News' Liz Kreutz has the latest.

and to place it into a perspective, a m4 to a m7-9 objects will move 4inches, or 7-9 due to the shaking. everything will move 4-7-9 inches. tote bin and bag, and i know youve gotten used to it, but its a changing earth, the core of the earth has started moving the other direction, covid ocean waves, its heating up, drying out, i would even worry about yellowstone being a possibility.

Are you kidding😅 the water pipes broke for the small ones 4.4 in AN AREA THAT IS PART OF THE CIRCLE OF FIRE OF PACIFIC😮? SOMEBODY IS NOT DOING HIS WORK TO BUILD SEISMIC PROOF BUILDINGS😂😂 not even in my hometown in Peru had that problem with the 8.0 magnitud earthquake in june 23 in 2001. Thanks God I live in Arizona.
California should be in high alert and check all the buildings before a big earthquake.
