There's a lot that Hindi Cinema and Industry at large must learn from South; their content, professionalism and a systematic structure are highly appreciable.

Daggubatti Suresh seems to be very very intelligent and experienced. Just wrong choice of words. Ladies films. Chalo never mind.

Watching mediocre content on big screens for a price is something people totally don't want to do. They can always stop a boring film on a Netflix or a Prime etc.

I commend Film Companion to always try to bring a diverse panel to get diverse views from the panelists. But - it also shows the serious lack of diversity in corporate Bollywood.

everyone saying that bollywood needs to be closed, theatres need to be closed etc. There are approx. 100 star kids but thousands and lakhs of families ka khana depends on films and theatres? unka kaam band karke kaunsa justice dila doge Sushant ko?

I personally do not think that today's Bollywoord stars are worthy enough for me to go to the theatre and flush out 500-600 bucks for movie+ snacks when I can do the same in-home for a fraction of the price

32:57 this also says Ram Gopal Varma was way much ahead of his time. Period.

I am just talking about the first 5 mins of the interview. In my observation, Anurag would do great in a Corporate setup (Sarcasm). I remember him bashing the exhibitors and theater owners last time while having a one on one interview, today while everyone was present, his answer was a right mix of politically correct and a slight reality check (Which I feel should have been more).

The most unfortunate thing about the art of film-making is that it heavily depends on the game of money

Another point I forgot to mention. Why would public pay for tickets when they can watch on OTT platforms without interval & ads?

The old man from UFO is clueless and lost in the weeds. But he makes a good point on switching the revenue model to a share of the gate. That can particularly help small films. Its high time the box office became honest and transparent. That will improve governance across the entire value chain and the industry will then attract public and professional investment. That is the only way this industry can survive and grow.

Everyone will survive but not Bollywood mafia nepotism gang. It is over. If suicide was an extreme step so is boycotting any movie having nepotism or mafia elements in it. For Sushant.

Expect Suresh Babu no one is from South here. Actually our country is India. Not Hindia. Hindi cinema Only is not Indian Cinema. Suresh babu's solutions are good and seems he is more knowledgeable with practical solutions among all people above. I am not degrading others, but why should Bollywood dominate in such discussions? I am asking this as an Indian. Is not there Tollywood, Mollywood, Kollywood and Sandalwood? Coloring is not important but real intelligence and talent are always is important. Hindi is killing India and its diversity. Bollywood is killing all other woods and talents. Just because someone belongs to Bollywood he is getting opportunities in such platforms. This is not right. Our country is India. Not Hindia.

It's good time decide by public....no need going theater...wasting money and making one hero on top....better watch them Netflix ...atleast customers can escape unwanted expenses like some theaters making compulsion even not to carry water bottles for drink...is it mandatory...its black business...atleast these kind of activities will stop...unworthy snacks too much cost and ticket rate too high. ..why to waste money...and better please each state should have separate filim industry. ..why Bollywood making too much development ...why cant make each state should have own filimindustry in north region...you guys dumping all money to only one state development....

These people just loot the audiences. I pay for Netflix, Amazon Prime, and Hotstar, and I CAN wait for 6 weeks after theatrical release to watch it on OTT.
