I'm an old man now, and have been a biker all my adult life. I have ridden many different motorcycles. Like most riders of my generation, I have always done my own mechanical work on my bikes. I built my own 1952 Harley Panhead bobber which I rode for many years. I was never positively impressed by the motorcycles produced on American Chopper. They were "works of art", and, as such, were beautiful to look at; but, I can assure you, seeing their geometry, they would be terrible to ride, uncomfortable on anything but the shortest trip, and with dangerously bad handling. These were creations meant to appeal to what we old time bikers call "profile artists, " people who rarely if ever really ride, and are more interested in appearance than substance, rich boys with expensive toys to show off to their friends.

Having watched Paul and his father from the outset I was amazed that Paul survived. His father reminded me of my own and I wished I could have spoken to Paul and described how I was able to manage it. I was happy to see him break away from Sr. and strike out on his own. He has a creative mind and a willingness to work and help others.

Paul Jr, you made the right move. Staying in a relationship with a toxic, negative person is best ended. I'm happy God found you! Best.

He definitely has an artistic mind when it comes to motorcycles. I just hope that someday he, his father and brother can put the past in the past. You only have one father and they can be gone any day.

Choppers get a bad rap... but they arent built for touring. If you're just cruising around town theyre an absolute blast. Plus... they do look cool.

Paul Jr. Is incredibly talented fabricator building some of the most impressive bikes. The black widow is still my favorite chopper made with my man Vinnie

Those bikes are show pieces, not meant to be riden, some tanks only allow 2-3 miles before needing to be refueled 😂

O like old school, though his bikes look cool you have to stretch yourself so far forward makes it uncomfortable to ride, plus some of his wheels are custom, how long to wait to replace if damaged etc.

I have seen some video/photos of those bikes and no matter how nice the bikes look, I didn't see odometer or speedometer, if you try to resale used bike, it would ne nice to tell the buyer how many miles it has been driven, value goes down if there is no proof of miles. I don't understand why smart people forget these very simple things.

Choppers, the original "bar hopper." Come out of the bar, look at the bike you have to get on and ride, then decide to hop back in the bar...
