How does it not come unraveled? I'm doing an infinity scarf and I wanted to stretch but I feel like if I stretch it it'll come unraveled?

I'm intrigued by the fact you don't include the tails under the next lot of stitches. I find doing this means I hardly ever have to sew in stitches, plus it gives a really neat finish. I also like to "lock" the new and old threads, by alternating for a couple of stitches. I'm probably just paranoid, but there's nothing worse than having something unravel from a bad join.
