So Basicly this is like Mr. Meeseeks, it doesn't shutdown until the goal is met. Just don't give it the goal to help you with your golf swing else it will install more instances of auto-GPT and create more sub-instances and overwhelm your PC.

So, I installed it, told it to improve itself, then create a new instance of the new autogpt and give it the same instructions. My laptop just walked out the front door.

Those are called "Agents" termes by the programmer of Auto-GPT. He believes agents will be the next big thing in AI. And can see that as well. Agents able to complete any job you ask for. Great 🔥🔥

So in order for the AutoGPT to actually do anything you need to pay even though there's a free subscription and immediately you have an API Limit reached. So you do need to pay for it to perform any kind of function online?

Just in case other people have the same problem I did. I was getting an error that MCI could not recognize the device. So, after the initial intro from Eleven Labs I could not get any speech. My solution was to revert back the playsound version 1.3.0 to 1.2.2

uninstall playsound

Once done: install playsound==1.2.2

worked like a charm.

This could be a game changer regarding nondestructive system admin work. Example: A recalled update, which is causing a BSOD, this software goes out and initiates some scripts to collect the logs on that machine to determine if the computer is no longer experiencing unexpected shutdowns.
