Yves Vegan Pepperoni Review!

Okay, guys! Another product review. This time the Yves veggie pepperoni!

I have been using this for a dozen years. Even the kids love it. fry it a little to crisp it up and then put on your pizza or whatever. really tastes like pepperoni  even the kids couldn't tell the difference. It was years before they knew it was vegan.

Beware of this product because it contains Canola oil which is a genetically modified oil. I don’t think the amount you’d consume in a few slices of pizza is to harmful but it’s something to consider for those of us who are sensitive to it. As an alternative I just put mushrooms(optional) on my pizza and then sprinkle some homemade pepperoni seasoning over it. I use the mushrooms bc after you lightly fry them they have a pepperoni-like texture and also they have a light taste which is easily over-ridden by the pepperoni seasoning. The point is that it’s not the meat that gives the pepperoni it’s unique taste- it’s the blending of a number of bitter spices plus salt and garlic so once you make the seasoning you will have a pepperoni tasting pizza with or without the meat. It’s all in the easily made pepperoni seasoning.

I'm not in Canada, but can you tell me where you get your pizza crust from? I've been trying to find a place to buy vegan pizza crust in grocery stores, and the only brand so far seems to be Pillsbury.

Why don’t you save time, hold the nutrition info and ingredients panels in front of the camera and let people take a snapshot or read them for themselves.

The intro about the nutrition facts is ridiculously long. I could care less about each and every percentage of every vitamin in any type of product like this. Especially processed meat. Watching this, I was thinking, "Okay is she ever gonna talk about the taste and how it's cooked? This intro is way too long. Let's get cut to the chase." I think if it was anyone's concern like that, they'd look it up.... However, I appreciate the review. I was just curious on how this pepperoni tasted on pizza. After watching this video, it's helped me make me decision on whether or not to try it out. Definitely looks tasty! I'm definitely going to try this out. I've been eating just cheese pizza for 3 long years since I became a vegetarian. But I always missed pepperoni pizza. Can't wait to have it.
