Yves Veggie Burger (The Good Burger) Review! (vegan)

This is my first time picking up the Yves veggie burger. Here's my review!

I've had these lots of times. Though I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong but lately they have been rather mushy. I find it better when it is cooked inside of the oven

Thanks for tasting BEFORE you add all the other stuff on your test burgers. Honestly, I can MASK the flavor of cardboard if I have on any sandwich or burger. I've been watching all your reviews, I'm trying to find a beef/chicken/hot dog alternative for ME when I grill.

I liked them aswell but they are the only patties I've tried. Im having their ground right now in my chilli because it was just missing that element of texture and it definitely has that ground beef chew to it. Im in Canada and have noticed that at least when it comes to yves and tofu...its not very expensive at all. Im pretty sure that there is enough protein in plants because thats where cows and other vegan animals get theirs and they are able to pass on to people who eat them.

I love these. I just tried A&W beyond meat burger (in Canada) and it isn't even as good as Yves. Yves has good veggie dogs too but their sandwich slices could use some work :)

As a VETERAN in the REAL meat community, I bought these when I became a vegetarian and they are DISGUSTING, the hot dogs as well SEASONING CANT FIX THESE

Yves is hit and miss in general, but never bad. I think that their best offerings are the 'souvlaki' skewer bites, veggie burgers and then some more obscure ones like like broccoli bites (really tasty).
I think that they're all worth trying at least once, except the standard sized wieners, because there are way better options these days. (When I'm looking for hot dogs, I always get Tofurky now that they're in Canada... the Kielbasa ones in large buns are UNREAL!)

I've always loved the 'regular' veggie burgers, though! And recently, I've found myself unexpectedly switching to the 'veggie medley' (or something) alternative from Yves. Just a garden vegetable patty that doesn't pretend to be meat. It's really, really good!

These are pretty good. If you want to re-create the 'fattiness' and you are a ovo-lacto vegetarian ... just add some butter. If you're vegan, some vegetable oil and spice.

** Update** Okay, so I grilled these on the BBQ 4 minutes a side and horrible! Alone, no way but with 1/4" of Kettle Creek sauce (Costco!) and some mustard, ketchup and relish, you can just manage to get them down but never again. I just saw another video on the "impossible burger" and can't wait to try It! One of the guys from the original Mythbusters show tried one in front of the camera and swears you can't tell it from a real beef patty. Until then, I'm still a carnivore :)
