LAUV - I MET YOU WHEN I WAS 18 (THE MEGAMIX) [2015-2019]

I’m so glad to finally be releasing a megamix for one of my most favorite artists, Lauv. I’ve thought of making a megamix for him since last year but I just didn’t feel enough motivation to do it. After going to his Asia Tour concert last week, I felt really inspired & finally decided to do it. It turned out way better than expected. Hope you all enjoy!! :)

This mashup includes every song in his album/playlist, “I met you when I was 18.” + other non-album singles including 2 new songs from his upcoming album (which will probably be out by the end of this year.)

I decided to search the term 'i meet you when I was 18 mash up' on a whim just a few minutes ago after being in love with this album for years or so now, and I'm just so thankful that someone did decide to go to the full extent of making a mix of this entire album/playlist because in itself it's an work of art. In my opinion I feel so amazed by how this sounds, it's like you totally transformed the songs to fade and fit into one another almost perfectly. I'm so upset that I just now found this, but I've already fallen in love with the transition portions (specifically but not limited to) of Never Not, There's No Way, and Easy Love. As well as Superhero's portion with Enemies and bringing in Chasing Fire to collide with Enemies (very fitting two if you ask me.). In any terms you should totally go ahead and pat yourself on the back, this is amazing and I'm totally going to annoy my Lauv Instagram page followers with links to this. This is really amazing and I hope you might revisit something similar to this soon with his latest 'how I'm feeling' album as well as some of his collaboration songs (I know you inserted a few snippets of singles for that album in this already but I'd totally love to see your spin on it if you ever decide to do anything as outgoing as this again) I love this, it's amazing. Don't stop mixing music, you've certainly got a knack for it. <3

Hey, I’m a very picky person when it comes to music, especially mashups and remixes. Because, you know, sometimes the rhythms are not properly fused nor the voices either, but this is amazing. You made an AWESOME and MARVELOUS work.

Once said that, I would really really appreciate if you could make a Lewis Capaldi mashup from his album: “divinely uninspired from a hellish extent” including his song “rush”, please.

(Hope you can do it, you made me very happy with this huge piece of art, keep going and don’t stop dreaming, you have a huge talent and I’m sure you will reach the top, never doubt it)
