The Greenlee TR-12A non contact electrical tester is designed to open the shutters on a tamper resistant outlet so you can test for electric.
It tests from 50-1000 VAC. The ON button gives a sound and light to let you know the battery is working.
Auto shut off after 5 minutes to save battery life.
