Waterfall Photography at Fairy Glen | Scottish Highlands

Join me as I attempt to photograph the two waterfalls at Fairy Glen on the Black Isle (Scottish Highlands). Owned by the RSPB, Fairy Glen is a beautiful walk along a small steam, leading to a magical money tree and 2 waterfalls.

MONEY TREE STORY - By hammering money into the tree, you are leaving money for the fairies. According to local folk law, every spring children used to decorate the water with flowers. This was said to be a gift to the fairies, and in turn they would sure the water was kept clean.

Recovering from the cold, I do loose my voice during this video but hopefully the subtitles make up for it!

great video, the waterfalls are amazing, been there many times. i think the money tree is a type of toll folk paid to the fairy king to cross the stream.

Another cracking (pardon the pun) video. Some great images. I find waterfalls both relaxing and mesmerising. We have a fair few near Neath here in South Wales, well worth a visit if you ever get tired of Scotland. Get well soon Kim.
