Landscape Photography Leeches And A Wet Camera At The Fairy Glen

Going to the Fairy Glen was supposed to be a wonderful experience and one of the highlights of the Landscape Photography trip to Snowdonia. Unfortunately after a week of disasters, things got worse. I lost my glasses in the river, the mic stopped working and I dropped my video camera in the water. However it's nothing in the scheme of things and I just smiled and got on with it. Luckily an image or two was captured.

My Kit List:

Samyang 21mm f1.8

Filming
Evolution Gimbal
Saramonic Mic

Editing & Processing
Adobe Lightroom

That first pic is absolutely stunning, love the mix of colours on the rock faces and mosses.

Very nice Paul. Thanks for explaining things - like the f/16 option. This is helpful for many of us..

I was here yesterday and was absolutely blown away by the beauty of the place. It was late afternoon and the weather and light was gorgeous. The trees were obviously still in full leaf with the autumn colours just ever so slightly starting to show. The biggest differences I saw to this footage was there was hardly any foam on the water and the rocks were completely moss-free, which was a plus as they were easy to climb up on to capture some lovely shots. I'll definitely be going back in a month or so when the autumn colours are in full swing.

Another Great video Paul and lovely to see you taking you son along with you, even though he has stolen the show. to see him with you brought back memories of fifty years ago when I would go out with my Dad he would give me a Mamiya range finder to take pictures with and it took me years to realise why i never got to see the pictures i had taken. There was never any film in it. and I still have that Camera today

Paul, thanks so much for sharing your gear and settings in all your vlogs, so many just talk composition and shoot, play dramatic music and share the finished shots. Great stuff ...

Your first shot was awesome Paul! Looks like you awakened the god of the glen on the rock face on the right hand side. Keep up the great work, these blogs make my day
