I was always amazed that Gary played primarily with his first two fingers, index & middle. all those blazing runs were done primarily with those. he'd employ his ring finger but not often.

Gary Moore was a lifelong Peter Green friend, student, and devotee. He even traded guitars with him and was honored to in exchange for only the one Gibson SG that he had to offer, be passed along the world famous 59 Les Paul that he used exclusively on all of his most ground breaking (Bluesbreaking too) recordings, for years. A straight across trade! Both men knew full well that it was far from being an even trade, but the gesture spoke volumes to the respect that Green obviously held for Moore. Nobody else knew the man firsthand and came as close to nailing his magic. And BB King is noted as having once said that Peter Green was the only guitarist that could "make me sweat". Fitting that he be playing here with Gary Moore.
