Still 100% invested, although I currently own more defensive stocks than normally. I'm going to wait and see what the effects of Omicron will be, before making further moves. Also, there's the CPI number on Friday and if it's higher than expected, the high-multiple stocks could sell off again.

Early reports on omicron indicated it was very infectious, but it’s virulence unknown. Early cases were predominantly in young people going to the hospital for other reasons and were relatively mild. Older people had not yet got it, so the overall virulence was impossible to measure. At the same time, while some European governments were tightening mandates, the US government never indicated they’d follow. The WHO was alarmed but accurately said the impact could not be assessed until in vitro tests were complete in a couple of weeks and more data rolled in from health authorities. The market overreacted more so than any health authorities. I couldn’t make sense of the see-saw volatility from day to day. Fear rampant. It was a signal to be greedy.
